It's going to be a combination of classes, workshops, get togethers, fabulous parties, and lots and lots of friends along the way at my first (of likely many) WPPI conferences.
Ever since the day I booked this trip, I've been giddy at the thought of what's waiting for me in Las Vegas. First time travelling alone, first time hitting the streets of Las Vegas, first time attending WPPI...do I need to say I'm so excited?
So here's the packing plan:
- tons of books for Thursday and Friday (because I plan on having some time to myself to think and write and read and photograph)
- comfy shoes
- pretty shoes
- workout clothes (you know...because I'm ambitious and like to think I'll be making use of the gym at the MGM Grand)
- cardigans, cute summer dresses, pieces that are easy to throw together!
- a notebook and some pens
- my camera :)
- oh, and a precious folder which contains all of my printed e-tickets, conference badges, travel info, and phone numbers for the girls I'm meeting for lunch and coffee dates!
These are some of the things I'm hoping to cross off my list of 101 in 1001 this week:
- #14 Read an entire book in one day
- #38 Visit a city alone, to write, think, and photograph
- #45 Attend a wedding workshop
- #62 See a celebrity
- #65 Eat lunch on a park bench and people watch.
- #67 Stand in a place that was filmed in a movie or TV show I love.
- #70 Meet someone who loves taking photos as much as I do.
- ooooh and *fingers crossed fingers crossed* #24 Meet Jamie Delaine
Yeah...it's gonna be a BIG week :)
Next time you hear from me, I'll be older, wiser, closer to completing my list of 101 in 1001, and hopefully...a better photographer too ♥
