When you work 12 hours a day, 6 days a week, and your dinner is paid for by the firm every night, you start to get tired of restaurant food. Sushi. Pizza. Greek. Freshii.
At least, this is what Ryan tells me, and it kinda makes sense. We wanted to do something special for Valentines Day, especially since I was getting shipped out to Vegas for WPPI 2 days later. But...the thought of another restaurent menu just wasn't doing the trick this year.
So with my very best housewife game-face, I whipped up a home cooked meal for the two of us to share ♥

Spinach and artichoke dip with fresh baguette
Filet mignon (I'll have you know, I bacon-wrapped it myself!)

Sangria (lots and lots of Sangria)
...& Cupcakes for dessert :)
After dinner, I blindfolded him and took him to a wealthy part of town (didn't see that last part coming, didja?) and we took a long winter walk around the golf course neighbourhood. We love looking at super big houses, thinking of ways to get ourselves into one, and talking about all of our plans for the future.
In my opinion, it was the very best Valentines Day ever ♥
