HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!
This is the first Valentines Day that I'm all by my lonesome since 2006 (woah!), because as you might already know, Beans is working on a client in Alberta for three weeks!
I decided to invite a girlfriend over, and bake up a STORM in order to feel like I'm celebrating the holiday in some form :)
Red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing and cinnamon hearts, anyone?
Of course, I had to make some of my classic sugar cookies too :)
Get ready to be hungry for brownies...
Here's one for made especially for Beans...
My absolute favourite part of this baking extravaganza was packaging it up and sending it off to my guy friends to eat. What can I say...I'm a good friend!
I think I'm going to spend the night cuddled up in bed with Weezy, watching girlie movies and a big bowl of popcorn. Or who knows, maybe some of my single girlfriends will snatch me up :)

I just noticed this is my 500th blog post!

ReplyDeleteI used my 60mm macro so that I could get all the gooey detail :) probably at an f3.5 for the most part!
