It's no secret that I think the engagement session is an extremely important part of the wedding experience.
In fact, I often insist that if it's humanly possible, each of my weddings clients do a portrait session (even if it's literally the day before the wedding when we're meeting for the first time, as is the case with Laura & Lee!).
I had just settled into the resort when the time came to meet Laura and get some photos of her and her soon-to-be husband. It was so vital for them to see what it feels like being photographed, while at the same time I learned a LOT about how they interact, figured out their best angles, and what type of direction works best for them.
Enjoy these few photos from Laura & Lee's last day before tying the knot :)

...oh, and I guess you could say
I was scouting locations for the wedding day too!

Looking out over the water from the top of a lighthouse... :)
I have chills knowing that this is the exact place that they stood the next day to say "I do."
These two people laugh a lot. True, true love right here.
