joelle + mark | palladium bavaro resort - punta cana destination wedding

I vividly remember the day I met with Joelle in a downtown Starbucks, to discuss her destination wedding... I was so jittery with excitement after our meeting, and probably didn't stammer out more than a couple words on the phone with Beans afterwards.

I'm sure I said something elegant and graceful like:

BABE! DOMINICAN!
PHOTOS OF WEDDINGS! JOELLE!
DOMINICAN!

It felt like forever away at the time, and yet...here I am, sitting at my computer, uploading Joelle & Mark's collection of wedding photos, with a pretty decent tan, and 3 all-inclusive bracelets still on my wrist.

Joelle & Mark were married at the lovely Grand Palladium Bavaro Resort & Spa in sunny Dominican Republic, on January 10th, 2013. It was such a perfect day from beginning to end, where 55 of their friends and family watched them say their vows in a gazebo overlooking the ocean.

Like I said, perfect :)

Obsessed with her ring...

How great is it to be able to have the guys put their finishing touches on...OUTSIDE?!

We all enjoyed how oblivious this sidewalk sweeper was to our picture taking...

No big deal, just the some sights on my way to photograph the ceremony. How perfect is this day for a wedding?

Mark and Joelle chose the lovely gazebo as their spot to say "I do" :)

The wedding guests arrived by train (so that all the ladies could sport their nicest heels for the occasion!)

One of my fave pics of Joelle :)

The ceremony was followed by a champagne toast for all 55 guests. Such a lovely time for the Bride and Groom to mingle about!

I wish this was a tradition for weddings in Canada...

Afterwards, we headed to the beach for some wedding party photos (& what a wedding party it was!!)

Joelle brought all of these little details from home to make the reception extra special. And how cute that each table was a different drink...love!

Dancing the night away...

My loves, I am SO honoured to have spent the week with you in the Dominican, and experience every minute of your wedding day!!

It's something I will never, EVER forget :)
