When the rain changes their plans and pushes the outdoor ceremony indoors, I hold my breath and tread lightly when it comes to my Bride and Groom. How are they going to respond? Will it cast a dark cloud on the entire experience? In true Laura Kelly Bride fashion, Lisa cruised through her rainy wedding day with grace, love, and patience. And Scott? Well Scott just worried about Lisa, and if she was happy, he was too.
Lisa and Scott were married last Saturday, at the Chateau Laurier in downtown Ottawa. The rain was heavy and unrelenting, but when they think back to their wedding a year from now, they'll hardly remember it. Instead, they'll think of a day that was special, intimate, and ultimately a celebration of their relationship.
