She called herself my "ever changing bride." I met Julie almost 2 years ago when she was planning a big wedding in Ottawa with dancing and speeches and lots of people. It seemed like every couple months I'd get an email from my sweet Julie with an update to her wedding plans. The ceremony location changed, the reception venue changed, and at one point, we were even heading to Quebec City to celebrate her wedding to her high school sweetheart, Chris.
But as it turned out, the big wedding just wasn't written on their hearts anymore. A final change of plans was made a few months ago, for Julie and Chris to be married in front of just 8 wedding guests.
To me, it didn't matter whether they were married in a courtyard restaurant, a luxury hotel in a different province, or on a balcony overlooking the city. Julie and Chris were creating an intimate event that suited them perfectly, and I couldn't wait to help them capture it. My dear friends, please enjoy this look into Julie & Chris' beautiful wedding day...
Satin & Snow provided the amazing florals that you'll see all over this post. Brittany has such a passion for amazing blooms. So much so, that she stays awake into the wee hours of the morning to ensure that the florals are as fresh as possible for her happy couples.
I had the pleasure of meeting Mike at Kayla & Jason's winery wedding last October. I was so happy to hear he was going to be playing music for Julie & Chris' intimate ceremony. The soft sounds of his acoustic guitar were absolutely perfect for Julie to walk down the aisle. If you're contemplating live music and you're looking for a referral, I highly recommend.
My absolute favourite <3
Julie & Chris -- through all the changes, the ups and the downs,
thank you so much for continuing to include me in your plans.
It meant the most to me that you always seemed to make photography a priority, and I hope that you've fallen in love with this little peek into your day.
All my love!
