a coffee themed elopement | styled shoot

It's been awhile since I've shared something like this!

And let me just say...
this is the kind of thing I live for.

Styled shoots have been a HUGE part of my business thus far.

My very first one was quite small, but it was a way for me to get some portfolio images early on (and get a feel for my style). I believe my next one was the carnival shoot (remember that?), which definitely helped me start booking engagements and weddings with amazing details. After that, Shannon Kennedy and I worked tirelessly on what we call the Hot 899 wedding for Erika & Eddy...and that project was extremely close to my heart. In the process, I met a ton of amazing wedding vendors that I've been lucky enough to work with since.

I'm absolutely in LOVE with the images you're about to see, but there's a little backstory you'll need to know before diving in.

Shannon and I wanted to work together again.
Shannon loves coffee.
I love doing things differently.

So instead of creating your typical wedding styled shoot...we created the concept of a beautiful, wealthy couple who invites their two best friends over for a Sunday brunch, only to announce that they're actually "eloping" and planning to exchange rings on that very day.

A private wedding at home -- just the way they'd want it.

This allowed us to work with a ton of freedom on things like food, paper goods, wardrobe, etc. And to challenge ourselves even further, we were going to do the whole thing without any. real. flowers. So hard to do!

With all that said, settle in and enjoy this beautiful coffee themed elopement...

And, as always, none of this photoshoot magic could take place without plenty of helping hands. We love our VENDORS!!
