one fine beauty holiday collection | ottawa branding photographer

My YEAR IN REVIEW series is seriously putting me in the Christmas spirit! Not because the photos are especially festive, but because to me it symbolizes this time of year. I make it such a ritual, drinking peppermint coffee and watching Love Actually while putting together the posts...

In case you'd like to catch up on the posts you've missed so far, here are some links for parts one to three:

PART ONE: Florals / PART TWO: Dresses and Veils / PART THREE: Lifestyle

Today I'm taking a quick pause in the series to share a few favourites from a recent shoot with Shannon from One Fine Beauty. You've surely seen her credited on MANY of the stunning weddings on the blog, since I work with her team most often for bridal makeup!

Every year, Shannon arranges a little shoot for her holiday-inspired line of makeup sets! Lips, eyes, and highlighter -- everything you need to sparkle for the season. Enjoy the collection of really pretty (and Christmassy!) photos that I took earlier this week for her shop!

One of the biggest challenges of shooting a makeup line is that the product has to remain true to colour during the editing phase! That means extra time and attention to detail during set up.

My heart was exploding after seeing this shot on the back of the camera, so gorgeous!!

All of Shannon's kits are made to mix and match, which made it easy to shoot multiple pieces together!

A new product for 2019: I need this highlighter in my life!

I feel like every girl in town needs a One Fine Beauty box on her tree this year!!

Sending love and congratulations to my beautiful and talented friend, Shannon, who puts so much love into everything she creates. This line is no exception and it was my absolute honour to be able to capture it for her!

These products are available in limited quantities so act fast if you'd like to snag one for yourself this holiday season!
