meanwhile, in a strange turn of events...

Meanwhile, in a strange turn of events, I find myself sitting in a hotel room in Montreal, with a suitcase packed, and plans of hanging out here for the next two weeks.

Let me back up a little bit.

Last week sometime, I got a call from Beans, letting me know that he was asked to work in Montreal due to an auditing emergency (I know right...those exist!). I happily reported that I had the next two weeks OFF, and that if he'd have me, I'd love to join him :)

So rarely would I find myself with 2 weeks with nothing scheduled, but early on in the year, I booked about a month off (well, off is a relative term, because I still had 2 days of mini sessions and 3 weddings, but kindaaaa off!) so that I could get a break and plan my own wedding.

I figured it was a sign I should go.

So we left early this morning, checked into the hotel, I dropped Beans off at his new office, and just came back to the room to settle in to where I'll be living for the next little while!

Since we drove up, I was able to bring my huge computer and set up a little office in the hotel room.

I am so glad I did because waiting that long to get home and see more photos from Saturday's wedding would be pure torture.

Speaking of which...fancy a sneak peek anyone?

Now, there's something else I should probably mention. Something that's happening on Thursday that is making my heart beat a little bit faster than usual. And that thing...is a photo shoot with my photography IDOL, a certain Miss Jamie Delaine

That's right friends, I will finally be meeting the lovely girl who inspired me to start my business! The owner of the blog I read DAILY! Beans and I will be standing in front of her camera for an engagement session, ready to do whatever she tells us to, and I could not be more excited :)

But there will be more on this later, as well as a moment to cross off #24 and #62 on my list of 101 in 1001. SWEEEET.

Anyway, here's to spontaneous travel adventures,
and being able to work from anywhere :)

PS...lots of Montreal photos to come!
