I've always been spontaneous.
Not in the "let's backpack Europe for the Summer" way, or the "I should cut off all my hair!" way.
More like "I should become a legal assistant," and then sending out 10 job applications in the next hour. Or "I should be a photographer" and investing in a camera bag that holds 7 lenses before I even had one piece of equipment to put in it.
Well recently, I decided it would be a good idea to try on the wedding dress that has been hanging in my closet for over a year, just to make 100% sure that it was the one. And it wasn't.
So what would a sane person do in this situation? Price shop for alterations, look for a sash and or veil to make it better... But apparently I'm not that person, because this morning I got up, showered, headed out to a bridal salon, and walked out with a new dress. 45 minutes later.
And if you're a bride, or you remember your wedding planning days very well, you already know the kind of relief that I feel right now to finally own a dress I LOVE; one that fits like a glove; one that I am SO excited to put on :)
It makes all the difference.
I know this doesn't really count as another thing off my wedding to-do list because technically I already put a big CHECK! in the dress column...but you know what...I'm the bride, and I say it counts ;)
Oh, and by the way...
