She wears the kind of clothes you pictured, travels to places you admire, has found the absolute perfect man to share her life with, and plans a wedding that's deeply rooted in the things that you value:

Of course, this girl who just "gets me," this girl who chose a song from R.E.N.T. for her walk down the aisle, and a quote from Moulin Rouge before her vows, this girl could only be: Michelle. And as for Mike, it's a match made in heaven, and he's the one who puts the extra little sparkle in her eye.
Together they managed to host a beautiful celebration at Orchard View with just enough surprises to keep their guests on their toes the whole night. I am so excited that they will be seeing this sneak peek into their collection while honeymooning in PARIS!

Michelle's sister-in-law Bridget, is none other than Ottawa's favourite film videographer. Such a special gift for Michelle and Mike that Bridget could step in and create what will surely be an heirloom film for the rest of their lives. We are all so excited to see it!!

Mikeyboy (or as the jacket inscription decided to shorten, Mikeyb...) was getting ready with his boys on the other side of the venue. This group made it such an incredible day from beginning to end.

Showpony Hair, you've outdone yourselves.
Michelle called me a few months ago, after a site visit that left her feeling slightly less than prepared. She told me she wished there was a magical wedding fairy who could come and sprinkle some love on their day, and take everything home at the end of the night like it never happened.
There is such a fairy, I told her! Enter: Makin'It Lovely. It's so difficult to plan a wedding from afar, especially when you're not in town to pick up all the little things that go into making a wedding look and feel really special. As soon as Mel texted me to say she had met with Michelle, I knew she was in such good hands.
Still though, I didn't expect this stunner of a ceremony setup:

One of Mike's vows happened to be that he would continue falling in love with her more every time he heard her sing. My heart leapt a little bit in that moment knowing that Michelle had planned to sing for him during the reception.
She's insanely talented and will be famous one day. I loved this special moment beyond words.
Michelle & Mike -- have the very best time on your trip! I cannot WAIT to see more photos (& I hope you feel the same way, ha!). All my love to two of the coolest people I've ever been lucky enough to work with. You guys are everything and I'm so glad to have played a small part in the magic that took place on July 20th.
