Holly & Tony's luxurious wedding at the Shaw Centre featured some truly spectacular elements. From the bejewelled Manolo's that Tony gifted to his bride, to the little blonde boy that walked down the aisle towards his father, and the beautiful, beautiful details that Kennedy Events pulled together, it made September 9th feel straight out of a magazine.
What a pleasure to meet Holly, Tony, and their entire crew as part of this dreamy wedding celebration. And with much anticipation, it is my great delight to share a few of MANY favourites from the #TOLLYwedding. Enjoy!
It was a windy morning up on the 23rd floor of the Westin, and risking this shoe shot gave me heart palpitations that were completely worth it. And I'd like to report that zero shoes fell over the edge. Thank you.
The comment that everyone's been leaving on my instagram for weeks: "Oh my, that dress!" And as you can probably imagine, all of the heart-eyes to follow.
A killer hair and makeup team made our wedding-ready dreams come true. So much love for Showpony and Two Chicks & Some Lipstick (who flew in from Toronto for the occasion!)
The Shaw Centre holds special meaning to our bride and groom; remembered as a structure that Tony and his father conceptualized, designed, and executed. In that sense, there would be no better place to exchange their vows and dance the night away.
P.S. see the curtains in the middle of the top floor? That's the head table, we'll get to that later!
All of the scrumptious florals you'll see in this post come by way of Flowers Talk -- so gorge!
Holly's favourite photo <3
Oh, you know, just your typical skyline ceremony backdrop...
The best.
As much planning and detail-work went into the year leading up to the wedding, it was the furthest thing from their minds as they strolled through Major's Hill park as newlyweds. I love it when I can see my couples fully enjoy this time together.
Back at the venue, the 4th floor was all dolled up for one of the largest receptions I've ever photographed.
It's been 10 days since they entered, but if I close my eyes I can still hear T.I. saying, "bring 'em out, bring 'em out."
Just a teensy bit happy to be Mr. & Mrs.!
Holly & Tony -- when I think back to this day, my absolute favourite moment was the one where you stood on the stage in front of all of your guests, promising to spend eternity together, so visibly excited about the person who stood before you. The way you held each other's hands and smiled so warmly, I will remember it always.
Thank you so much for allowing me to join the party and meet your amazing families. Sending my love all the way to Italy this morning, where I know you're making the most out of a fairytale honeymoon <3 LOVE!
