I met Chanelle for a consult in Ottawa, having heard some lovely things about her from my best friend, Sarah. Her brother Kevin had recently proposed to Chanelle and before I knew it they were set up with a venue, a date, and as luck would have it, they wanted me to document the big day. I was thrilled! Not only do I know Kevin's family, but my bestie would be a bridesmaid!
Since the day of our consult, so much has changed. Kevin was placed in Alberta for the RCMP, leaving Chanelle to do as much wedding planning as possible in a few short months, and prepare for her move just before Christmas. Moving across the country for your man, that's true love right there!
Earlier this week they flew in from Alberta with just enough time to take a few engagement photos, grab a coffee and chat about the timeline, and settle into Ottawa for some last minute wedding prep. It's gotta be a record for the shortest amount of time between an engagement session and a wedding day...
I love that I don't have to wait too long to see these two as husband and wife. It's going to be such a beautiful day! Without further adieu (and since Sarah is texting me saying she's DYING to see more photos...), a few of my faves from Chanelle & Kevin's engagement:
