"Loving you is easy."
It was quick, to the point, and it made all the ladies bring their napkins up to the corner of their eyes. Patrick's speech about Maria made it clear that they had found their other half in one another.
"I'm a happier person since I've met her," he continued. "She's the perfect person. There's no denying it in my mind, and I'm so thankful to Maria for bringing me into her life."
It was such a pleasure to witness Maria and Patrick's bright and sunny wedding day surrounded by big families, lots of love, and so much laughter. This wedding was pulled together by the amazing team at The Design Co., and made more beautiful thanks to so many killer vendors, like my loves at Showpony and One Fine Beauty. Such a stellar team, I can't wait to show these off!
The way these invitation florals matched the bouquet AND Maria's getting ready robe so perfectly? Amazing.
One of my favourite parts of the morning. Maria opened a card from Pat that read, "Thanks. Love, Pat." We laughed but were all a little bit surprised at how brief his note was!
Inside a big box wrapped in tissue paper, Maria found a thick envelope with two words: just kidding! She read the heartfelt letter from her husband-to-be, and opened the iconic blue box and white ribbon to see a delicate bracelet with a heart on the clasp. That's more like it, Pat. I was so proud :)
Maria's brother officiated their ceremony at St. Patrick's church, which made it so meaningful.
I love a happy walk down the aisle, and these two couldn't help but smile!
Maria's immediate family is so large that it would have taken double the time to do individuals and group shots with each of her siblings. Instead, they opted to have their families mingle and get candids. I loved it, and everyone had such a great time.
Over at Cedarhill Golf & Country Club, the sunshine poured through the trees and the vibrant florals made every single photo perfect.

I loved working with this happy group!
Maybe you're thinking, "look at those happy faces! They love each other so much!" And you're not wrong, but in this particular instance, Maria and Pat were looking off into the distance where a Cedarhill staff member was bringing over a tray of appetizers. Hooray for food!
Stella York, you're a goddess. And Maria, you're working that back drama like nobody's business.
This A-team wedding would not be complete without a darling pair of earrings by Sarah Walsh.
There's a face I love to see at cocktail hour -- it's my boo Stacey from The Design Co! Apparently she's been friends with Maria for something like 20 years. Maria was so thrilled that Stacey could plan, execute, AND be a guest on her big day.
And her handsome husband, Steve, knows how to twirl a girl on the dance floor. Just saying.
This table of sweets made the whole room smell like sugar. And they trusted me to be in here by myself...
Maria & Pat -- congratulations on your big day! What a beautiful experience it was from beginning to end, and I'm so very thankful you trusted me to capture it. I loved meeting your whole crew and truly hope you stay in touch as you enjoy what will surely be a magical life as husband and wife. Love you guys!
