I met with Michelle and Andy for an engagement session last weekend on a beautiful summer evening at the yacht club. Since finding out that I will be shooting their wedding this September at Le Belvedere, I've been following Michelle on Instagram and keeping up with her exciting and travel-filled life. As she and Andy walked towards me, holding their adorable little puppy (or should I say 'fur baby'), I felt like I already knew them.
The conversation was just so easy and we felt like friends by the time I took the first test shot. I loved spending the evening with them, observing the adorable way they show their affection for one another. I loved meeting Michelle's best friend, Carol, who helped us out by holding Harley when he wasn't in the shot. Every single part of that night made me very excited for Michelle and Andy's wedding on September 19th. I'm practically counting down the days!
Can't you just see Michelle looking flawless in a wedding gown?!
We chose the Britannia Yacht Club for their engagement location because Andy's father docks his sailboat there. Michelle told me that sometimes they'll pack some wine and a few appetizers and spend an evening sitting on the end of the boat, watching the sun go down.
Michelle and Andy, I hope you guys enjoyed this preview of your session! I truly can't wait to see you both again as you exchange vows with the million dollar view in the background.
