ola + zach | new years eve wedding at st. leonard's parish

Welcome to Ola & Zach's wedding! Ringing in New Years Eve 2020 with only parents and siblings, but making the absolute most of it...

The celebration started with a ceremony at St. Leonard's Parish in Manotick, just the six of us: Ola and Zach, their parents, myself, and the Priest. It was intimate, it was personalized, and there wasn't a dry eye in the house.

My clients are so curious these days about how pandemic weddings are going down -- what they look like, how each couple celebrated, what was allowed and what wasn't.

I share these photos of masked guests in an empty church and I think it's actually really beautiful. There's something so quiet about it... It's purely about their marriage; nothing else.

We popped over to the locks for photos of Ola and Zach, while the families prepared a champagne toast back at the house.

When your veil snags and it actually turns into a stunning candid shot...

Man, I love these two. They made this whole day so much fun.

Ola and Zach, I can't think of a sweeter way to ring in the new year than with those first dances on the back patio! I adored meeting your families and I'm so happy you were able to go ahead with a unique version of your original plans.
