"Who knew that in Grade 11 physics class we would 
actually be building chemistry..."

We can all admit it was a bit of a cheesy line, but what followed can only be described as heartwarming and thoughtful. David looked towards his stunning wife, Amanda, and told her she was perfect; that they were perfect together. He said that this day was his absolute favourite, and thanked her for making him the luckiest man in the room that night, and promised to try to repay the favour for the rest of their lives.

Amanda & Dave were married last week at one of my favourite venues in town, Le Belvedere, on a perfectly sunny morning turned torrential rain storm. Enjoy a few favourites from this lovely celebration!  



This gown blew us all away! That soft neckline was made for Amanda...










I loved working with Jess again after so many months! She's an incredible second photographer and captured some truly beautiful moments during times where I couldn't be in two places at once.

Looks like such a gorgeous day! Only 15 minutes from the storm...

I love this photo so much. Amanda's Dad looking at his daughter, and Amanda's mom looking at her new son-in-law. When photos can tell stories, I feel like I've done my best work.




As the clouds roll in and the first few drops start to fall, we make a run for it inside to finish the ceremony in Le Belvedere's lower floor space. 


Only 10 minutes later we were totally relocated and back to the good stuff:









Can I take this moment to say how much I LOVE rectangular table layouts? They photograph so well and allow larger groups to get to know each other during dinner! 

















How does a rain storm turn into a sunset, you ask? Well, Amanda and Dave must have done some very nice things in a past life :) Taking a few moments to sneak out during dinner is one of my favourite parts of the day. 








Amanda & Dave, thank you for everything! It was such a pleasure to meet your family and friends and spend the day celebrating with you!
