amanda + ron | temples sugar bush bohemian wedding

On a gorgeous sunny day in September, Amanda and Ron stood beneath a white gazebo in front of their family and friends, and spoke about their love story. The way they met, how he asked her out and she cancelled on him (twice!), and how eventually they both realized that they were a perfect fit.

Everything about Amanda and Ron's wedding was intentional, from the heirloom necklace she wore around her neck, to the intimate reception with a family-style dinner service. Family is everything to these two, and I am so happy to share photos from the day that they officially became Mr. & Mrs. Murphy...

I met Amanda in 2013 when she was a bridesmaid in a wedding I photographed. We got to talking about her wedding that evening and I'll never forget how she asked Ron to cover his ears so she could tell me about the floral crown she was picturing for her wedding. I've been excited about her day ever since!

How perfect is this Kate Spade jewellery dish? Such a sweet bridal shower gift from her girls.

The invitation suite was designed by Inkblossom. I am smitten with the way they tie into Amanda and Ron's style perfectly.

A sweet first look with her Dad:

And then it was time to have a first look with her groom. There's a dock just down the road from Temples Sugar Bush where we took their bride and groom photos.

Now would be the perfect time to talk about Amanda's makeup, done by the amazing Shannon of One Fine Beauty. Amanda...you look stunning!

I thought it was so sweet that Amanda chose her best friend, Justin, to be her "man of honour." They've been friends since they were 4 years old!

The ceremony space at Temples is a dreamy garden...

I fell in love with this family. They're such characters, and to know them is to love them. For real.

Guests snapped polaroids of themselves and wrote notes beside their photos for a really cool guestbook. The pink camera was way too cute.

We popped out during dinner for a few sunset shots :)

And it was the perfect way to end an already perfect day <3

Amanda and Ron...you guys were dream clients for me. From the moment we started chatting about your wedding back in 2013, to saying goodbye on the dance floor on your wedding night, it has been a pleasure.

I hope your new life as a married couple is
everything you dreamed of!
