I'm often asked if I get tired of shooting weddings after 8 years and 9 wedding seasons. The photos you'll be scrolling through today are just one of the reasons that my answer is a resounding no!
Each celebration is different, each couple is different, and my job as I see it is to find those points of differentiation and articulate them on the screen. One day I could find myself in a sea of 500 guests, and the next, in a private backyard where two people would exchange vows, rings, and donuts. I am forever grateful for the couples who choose to invite me to document their celebrations, big or small -- and it's my personal pleasure to share a few favourites from a recent elopement for Leanne and Mahmoud, who definitely fit into that category of small.
With just a handful of friends, myself, and their officiant Keith, Leanne and Mahmoud started the next chapter of their lives as husband and wife. And so the adventure begins...
