What an amazing crescendo to celebrate the end of wedding season. I had been looking forward to Sarah & Jordan's wedding day ever since she first shared her Pinterest board with me last year. I saw mention of Presh Floral, Makin'It Lovely, Shannon Kirsten Studio, and of course Evermore as the fairytale venue. The gang's all here and I was ready to hustle hard and make gorgeous things happen for this darling couple.
Sarah & Jordan are bonded so deeply and sincerely. You can see it in the way they care for each other in all aspects of life. You can hear it in the words they use when they speak about one another. You can feel it in the room during those quiet moments where all eyes and ears are focused in on Sarah & Jordan. Their love story seemed to be sprinkled with a bit of fairy dust. She found her prince, he found his soulmate. Sarah & Jordan -- thank you for inviting me into your extra special celebration!
It's even better than the Fairy Godmother could dream up...
The sweetest bridesmaid reveal! This was probably the biggest wedding party I've yet to photograph. All of those extra happy faces made the day feel SO real for Sarah & Jordan.
Gifts for Mom and Dad from their sweet daughter. Sarah's Mom, Sheila, could barely get through the first couple words on her card. Later, she said. Later.
On the other side of town, the boys were polishing themselves up a little bit in time for a few photos.
On Instagram last week I shared the story of this surprise tattoo. After they had said their goodbyes on the afternoon before the wedding, Jordan arranged for some new ink as tribute to his beautiful bride-to-be: her new initials right where his ring would sit. She spotted it for the first time as they held hands during the ceremony.
Personalized tote bags for her girls with cards and gifts tucked inside. Sarah's setting the bar high for these girls. No joke.

I am so thankful to have had my second shooter, Jessica, with me last weekend! She was able to take all of the detail and decor photos while I focused on the couple, their family, wedding party, and guests.
This biggest, fullest altar setup I've ever seen at Evermore! Presh, you outdid yourself!
And of course, the beautiful Melissa from Makin'It Lovely who made this event come alive with her stunning decor -- thank you times a million! She was also the BEST dinner date that night <3
Their ceremony was officiated by a friend of theirs, with the help of someone who could actually make it legal. Touching, heartfelt, and personalized -- you can see it all in this photo.
My girl Showpony pulled it OUT for this bombshell group of girls.
Possibly my very favourite from this whole day, right here.
Pups were accompanied by their foster owners for some snuggling and loving from the wedding party. It was so joyful and heart wrenching at the same time. Most of these pups are still in need of homes. The idea that maybe these photos would help to place them in permanent homes was deeply important to both Sarah and Jordan. And of course, in lieu of traditional wedding favours, a donation was made to Bullies In Need.
These moments are like gifts. They stretch your heart and shake up everything you thought you knew about weddings. I am so lucky to have clients like Sarah and Jordan, that's for sure.
The last few seconds of daylight...
This to-die-for cake by The Girl With The Most Cake -- obsessed.
And with a personalized donut flavour chart... I can't.
Sarah & Jord! I hope you enjoyed this little peek into your final collection. All my love to you both for making this experience so lovely from beginning to end. I love you guys!
