That about sums up the wedding of Meagan and Devan. A loooong time coming, and worth the wait. I have a special place in my heart for couples who met in high school, and obviously there's an extra gold star if they choose me to capture and document their beautiful wedding day!
Meagan & Devan, I hope this sneak peek into your Fall wedding at Code's Mill on the Park finds you while you're toasting a beer and backpacking through some romantic castle in Scotland. Your honeymoon is obviously a dream, but I hope you're still basking in the amazing day that was September 30th.
There's a first for everything and in this case, the first time a bride and groom have shared the same house for their preparations. The White House Inn is right across the street from Code's Mill and offers two separate suites where there's almost no chance of them running into each other. With the help of the wedding party guarding each other's moves, this went off without a hitch.
There really aren't enough long sleeve dresses in my life these days...

There's something so charming about this next photo. I don't know what it is, but if you told me it was taken in the 70s I would believe it. Timeless wedding perfection.
Much to be thankful for, and many bottles of champagne to be popped.
One of my favourite details from this occasion: table numbers that were matched with a paragraph or two about the things they did, places they went, and friends they made in that very year.
