mary + scott | brunch wedding at the schoolhouse in munster

Mary and Scott planned an intimate wedding with 17 guests. Every detail was carefully planned and personally tested, right down to the 8 flavours of cupcakes. My knowledge about the bride and groom is pretty vast now that I've been through the process of filling out their personalized crossword puzzle. Thankfully, since we had only met twice before the wedding day, I was able to cheat off the couple seated beside me...

I know Mary works in the education department at a museum, and that Scott owns an insane FIFTEEN different gaming consoles. I know that they met on OK Cupid and are planning to honeymoon in Niagara Falls. I also know that they are smitten with each other and are so excited to finally be husband and wife.

Mary told me very early on in her planning that hiring the best people was hugely important. It was a delight to work with so many amazing vendors on this day, including One Fine Beauty, Topknot Hair, Matt & Kat Wedding Videography, and Sarah Walsh Bridal

Some seriously talented hands in this photo. They make an amazing glam squad!

Can you tell it's been WAYYY too long since I've photographed blush roses?!

Roses lined the fountain outside the venue. These are the little details that I love the most.

A perfect little garden area for a first look...

One of my favourites!

No need for a limo with this one -- you can see the church across the street!

After the church bells rang, the belgian waffles and fresh whipped cream and the tastiest bacon I've ever eaten (don't tell my mostly vegan husband!) was served. My absolute favourite part though, was when Mary and Scott called on their guests for short speeches. With such a small crew, every single person was vitally important to them both.

Congratulations Mary & Scott! Thank you for trusting me as part of your top-notch wedding crew. It was seriously the best bacon I've ever had, I hope you know I'm not exaggerating. Have a WONDERFUL time in Niagara and thank you very much for everything!
