Aaaand I feel good about it. Because if there's one wedding that gives me teary eyes so far in 2019, it's Shannon and Nick -- a pair of high school sweethearts who were married last weekend at Le Belvedere in Wakefield. I am thrilled to be sharing a mighty collection of favourites from this GORGEOUS (& unpredictable... more on that later) wedding day!

And it was a pretty obvious choice for the first real sneak peek...
I get so many questions about unplugged ceremonies! I think I need to refresh my blog post about it and include a picture of this adorable sign...
So we wrap up the photos of the wedding party and our bride and groom, when it starts to POUR rain. We were so thankful that we had chosen to schedule a first look! We decided to hold off on the ceremony until the rain passed, which luckily ended up being about 10 minutes later.
And then the dark clouds rolled in for a few minutes to tell the guests it was time to head into the reception...
And as if perfectly on cue, right around the time that the sun popped out of the clouds, the rain turned to just a light sprinkle. It resulted in one of the coolest Le Belvedere sunset photos ever!

Shannon & Nick, sending the biggest congratulations your way! Everything about this day was utterly perfect. You guys are off to an incredible start to your lives together, especially with such a deep foundation of friendship and an overall respect for one another.
