As I listened to the conversation at my table during Krystyn & Ryan's wedding reception, I quickly learned that Renfrew is quite the small town. There are deep roots of family and friendship, and everyone knows everyone's brother, sister, and parents. They played on the same sports teams as kids, they work in the same family businesses. The ties are strong and the history is even longer.
Krystyn & Ryan chose to hold their ceremony in the backyard of Ryan's grandfather's property. Although it was a little bit chilly, the blue skies and the sunshine made up for it. In the front row sat Ryan's grandfather, Ron, who watched the ceremony unfold with the most sincere smile across his face. His grandson was starting a new chapter of his life as a husband. He was so proud.

THE CREATIVE TEAM:
Ryan surprised Krystyn with a delivery of roses. They were supposed to make it to her in the morning, but I think mid-first-look was even more adorable :)
As they walked down the aisle for the first time as husband and wife, fireworks went off! Everyone was so surprised and it really made the moment feel like a celebration.
During Ryan's speech later that night, he pointed to the head table and remarked that there were over 100 years of friendship in those seats. Just as Ryan said, not many people have the privilege of saying that about their wedding party.
Over at the Best Western in Renfrew, Krystyn and her girls had set up the loveliest rustic decor. Every nook and cranny was used thoughtfully. I admire her attention to detail :)
