kayla + jason | beachy engagement session


Ready to take a trip down memory lane? We're going all the way back to January of 2013, friends, when I first met Kayla and Jason on the white sandy beaches in Samana, Dominican Republic. I was shooting Stephanie and Richard's crazy gorgeous wedding, not knowing that I'd get to turn my camera on them in a few short years :)

 Kayla and Jason are a fun-loving, gorgeous couple who make me excited about shooting their wedding this October at a vineyard in Prince Edward County.

stephanie + lucas | bean town ranch summer wedding


I've been photographing weddings for five seasons now, and I've come to realize that it's the little things in each wedding that stick in my mind and become lasting memories. 

As I drove away from Stephanie and Lucas' wedding last weekend, I pictured the beautiful flower covered altar underneath the sun and the soft clouds, where they stood with their immediate families in prayer. The group held hands, bowed their heads, and smiled as they prayed for a happy life for the newly married couple. In that moment I was humbled by the importance of a wedding day, not just for the couple, but for their families, friends, and for their faith.

With that, I'll share a few of my favourite images from Stephanie and Lucas' Sunday wedding at Bean Town Ranch...

jamie + chris | wedding at the herb garden


It rained for six days straight leading up to the wedding. Clearly someone was watching over Jamie and Chris as they prepared for their outdoor ceremony and tented reception at The Herb Garden. When the big day finally came...there was nothing but blue skies and warm sunshine. 

I am so happy to be sharing their wedding photos today; this wedding truly lights my heart on fire. Please enjoy!
