yesterday i...

yesterday i woke up worrying that it would rain during the outdoor ceremony.

yesterday i watched the skies turn blue and the clouds disappear.

yesterday i made approximately 15 new friends, and I adore each and every one of them.

yesterday i ate s'mores for the first time in about 10 years.

yesterday i got home and pleaded with beans for a foot massage before bed.

yesterday i photographed the best wedding in my career thus far.

yesterday...dexter and laura became husband and wife.

lindsay + adam | loch march golf and country club wedding

I'm pretty sure the reason why we have Bridesmaids and Groomsmen is to have 6-10 extra pairs of hands to help with the wedding planning...to help us assemble wedding invitations...to pick up the flowers...

But now that I've met Lindsay and Adam's group of friends, I'm almost positive that Bridesmaids and Groomsmen are there to make the wedding day more fun.

And when it comes to this crew...fun is a total understatement.

Congratulations Lindsay & Adam!
I had such a great time being a part of your amazing wedding day :)

Check out the super sweet package that Adam had delivered to Lindsay's parents' house in the morning :)

And when Lindsay's mom read the card, it inspired a few happy tears.

I can't tell you how much fun I had photographing the wedding details at this house...there were vintage books, old radios, pewter picture frames...it was the perfect canvas for me to play :)

Bam.

It rained allllllll morning, but it turned to a sprinkle just in time for the girls to head into the ceremony. Perfection.

Adam's parents were so happy while they said their vows :)

I love this shot of the girls!

I think everyone's favourite moment was when Nik from Loch March came out with some appetizers for my hungry models.

And now...for some solo time :) Just me and the bride & groom...

I know I say this at every wedding, but the speeches are one of my favourite parts, because I get to learn so much more about my clients (plus, see embarrassing photos).

Are these two sisters or what?

And I'll leave you with what might be my favourite dance photo ever...the Sheena sandwich.

brien family | chapman mills conservation area

They walked straight out of a J-Crew catalogue and stood in front of my camera.

At least...that's how it felt :)

The Brien family is absolutely ADORABLE, and a pleasure to photograph. We hung out in the fall sunshine earlier this week, and I am really excited to show off some of my favourites from our time together:

This is totally one of my favourites of this little guy :)

Cute people make cute kids ;)

Can I just take this opportunity to say how much I'm LOVING this fall weather?!
Boots and scarves and cardigans...love.

Also, if you have an upcoming family session and you're wondering what to wear...feel free to come back to this post for inspiration,
because they totally ROCKED it :)
